So I am getting a little concerned. I have been busting my *ss for almost a month working out and eating better (I won’t say perfectly cause I love with a baker), and I have not lost any weight. I’m working out 30 mins a day, every day, and I always come in with a calorie deficit. Am I doing something wrong?!

Don't count too much on the scale. Usually inches come off faster than weight so my advice for the first few weeks stick the scale in the back of the closet and bring out the measuring tape. Measure urself maybe once or twice a month. You've got this

i use to do the same workout and eat at a deficit its ok at the beginning but then i realized always in a deficit and working out no good you have to eat your calories i started eating my calories and the weight falls off if eat 300 less and burn say 300 a day in exercise thats 600 eat just below tdee and never below bmr

1 you need to see a doctor to make sure that you don t have any health problems 2 water burn calories so try to drink in a day 2 to 3 liter of water 3 don t stress ! stop thinking about losing weight faster . you need to concentre about your self (love your self , eat healthier( get ride of bad habits ) , meditate yourself every morning) 4 eat in small plate and count your meal ( calories you need to know how much calories you need to lose weight in a healthiest way 5 you don t need to exercice a lot just by cleaning your house you can lose weight . my advice is if you don t love workout like me , you can simply go to youtube find some cardio hit workout and do it 3 times a week 6 patient time is the key 7 spend time on eating create healthy food that looks yummy and if you are overeating drink water before meals (tip) 8 what time you are eating you have to realise that time is really important to lose weight ( breakfast 8 to 10 am lunch 13 to 14 pm diner at 5 pm ) from 5 pm to 8 am is called intermittent fasting . it's really helpful for weight loss 9 Chrononutrition you gonna see of course results ! change your lifestyle ! hope i will help everyone good luck

one last tip 1 every morning weigh your self write the number every day until you finish your week and you have avg then you comperate to your last avg of the last week tip 2 mesure your hips and waist and arms and legs just to know if you are losing weight or fat body

Go 100% Mediterranean Diet and don’t deviate (be strong). Take a B12 supplant due to lower intake of meat, and drink plenty of water to curb cravings. Woman typically need 2000 calories per day to maintain weight so try and be 15-20% below that. Moderate exercise for at least 30min every day at 60-70% of your target heart rate (walking works fine). This is the fat burn zone where your body will burn 85% fat and 15% carbs. If your heart rate is higher you’ll flip to 50/50 Fat to Carbs. Wear a heart rate tracker (think FitBit) and get a Wellness appt with your MD for labs to insure no metabolic disorders. Good luck!!

I find that I need to eat more protein to lose lbs. might be worth a try. Especially if your working hard and a bit fed up. You’ve got this! 👏🙌🏽

Measure, weigh, and record everything (every single thing) including exercise. If you are not exceeding recommended food amounts, and you are not losing lbs or inches, check with your doctor for underlying issues

Even though you are coming in at or under calorie deficit you may need to evaluate what you eat. To many carbs or fat, especially at first when you are trying to lose will delay loss. For instance, when I first started I only ate 1,000-1200 calories a day. Yet I ate so much fruit that my carb n sugar intake was off the charts. It's all about balance.

Get a scale that also measures water weight, body fat, muscle and bone mass. They’re around $25 online. Then only weigh yourself first thing in the morning after you pee & just once a week. You’ll be surprised how much your new muscle and variable water weight can make it look like your body weight number isn’t moving (which is frustrating). When you see your body fat percentage decrease or lean muscle increase, those are better numbers to focus on. But keep it up! We are proud of you for doing something good for your body!!!

Learn to love sweating. Count calories by weight and make sure you are getting the measurements correct.

From my personal experience, my water weight can deviate 4% a day, but usually only 1% or less. For some marathon runners who do a 20 mile run, it can take a few days to become completely hydrated. Water weight will steadily increase by around three lbs in about three days, for some long distance runners. For some people, a day of having more carbs than normal can increase his or her water weight by a couple of lbs. for a couple of days.

I have found that when you don't have a lot of weight to lose, it is important to stay consistent and fairly strict day after day. For example- if I eat in a caloric deficit every day but then one or two of the days I eat over, it cancels that deficit out and I'm stuck at same or I gain a little. Then I go back to eating in a deficit and I lose the gained weight but eat over a couple days, etc....and on and on never getting anywhere.

Rckc, that is exactly right. I am still paying for last Sunday. That is why it is suggested to have a "free" meal instead of a day. The lower your weight and/or calorie allowance, the less you can get away with while still making progress.

Feisty, are you logging your meals? I am always amazed how quickly those calories add up even when I'm eating something low-cal, like a salad. 🌈
