Gotta get more persistent with keeping track of what I eat. I also need to lay off the nuts. I do t really control how many I’m eating. I did away with them tonight. No more nuts unless it’s almonds. They’re easier to control.

Wow you still lost 5 pounds even while you’re eating nuts . Way to go

I know all about the nuts. I bought a bag of planters drizzle almond yesterday and bam they are gone.

I eat pistachios because it takes time to shell them which helps with how many I consume..10 pistachios=34 calories. I also eat almonds.

I count mine out in the morning, log them, and put the container up and away. Once they're gone, that's it for the day unless I'm eating them in place of something else.

Katsolo, I tried that . . . but if they were in the house, I typically ate more. I only buy a small container of nuts every 2 - 3 months now.

Nuts are hard for me, too. I love them! I measure out walnuts, almonds & pecans for salads. For snacking I like sunflower seeds. Like Diana, it take awhile to shell them.

yes, nuts are very calorie dense, i have the same thing with raisens, can't stop eating them

I can limit the amount of some of the nuts I eat. Usually have 10-20 almonds a day. Sometimes walnuts. But I can't have pistachios in the house or any of the salted mixed nuts.

I count my almonds out. Almonds are my go-to!

It took a long time to get the snacking thing under control. Especially when it comes to nuts (truthfully...and chips...and cookies and well... ok ...anything really) I portion out the serving and put them in individual bags. I can have one bag - I stop when the portion is gone.

I just had 4 rice crackers with peanut butter and 4 dark chocolate chips melted in the microwave. Totally decadent!
