Remember that you need to do at least 48 hours of VLCD so you don't gain. Even though you don't have your pills, hCG is still present in your body. Where did you end up ordering from? :) 

Elizabeth...I would do this as a planned interruption in protocol if I were you, depending on how many days before your hcg gets here...according to pounds & inches: you stay on the vlcd for at least 48 hours and then: "the patient must increase his diet to at least 800 calories by adding meat, eggs, cheese, and milk to his diet after the third day, as otherwise he will find himself so hungry and weak that he is unable to go about his usual occupation. If the interval lasts less than two weeks the patient can directly resume injections and the 500-calorie diet, but if the interruption lasts longer he must again eat normally until he has had his third injection." Once you resume the hcg you DON'T LOAD if you have followed this planned interruption part of the protocol. It worked really well for me while I was on vacation and I only gained 1.5 pounds the week of my vacation. I hope that helps! 

You may also have the option of just trying your best to maintain the VLCD diet until your shots come on Friday and then immediately take a shot. On my first round I went for 4 days without a shot one time. Another possibility also might be if you decided to chage your dit to stil watch your carbs and avoid sugar, bread, flour, rice and potatoes to minimize any weight gain.
