Just got up and weighed. Down 3 pounds for the week. Will journal later this morning.
Later..... Well,I was pleasantly surprised. After watching several hours of politics on cable TV on Monday night, I was so stressed out that I headed for the fridge. Fortunately, what I thought was a binge, only calculated to be under 200 calories. All meat, no sweets. Why do we turn to food when we get upset?
I'm still focused and concentrating on more veggies. A review of my food journal discloses that I am one of those meat and potatoes guys. I have some sort of meat every dinner. I need to make a conscious effort to find other good sources of protein. Perhaps tofu????
Slow but steady is better than huge losses every week... and I do eat. I find that in the past, when I fasted, the moment I started eating again the weight went up again.
I have some medical procedures coming up in the next two weeks. I expect some weight loss just because I won't be able to eat.
No evening cocktail in 22 days. Until I am under 200 lbs, I will forsake the empty calories.
