Well, What a crazy week... A friend of mine came to stay with me because he split up temporarily with his wife, so we started Saturday with a few beers. Next thing I know my parents are throwing a big BBQ and invite us, and my girlfriend. They bought a bunch of Ouzo and german Shneappes, and well, we drank too much and there went my diet. When we got home I drunkenly got into bed and my girlfriend was pretty upset with me for drinking so much, which I deserved, but we got into an argument and I said some mean things before realizing I was being a jerk. The argument ended, but things are bad now, and she took all of her things and left me. I was really excited about her moving in, and the diet was going totally well for me. So, here I go for try number 2. starting tonight, back on the diet, no matter what bbqs or friend cheering up I do. I hope the mean things that we said to eachother can be repaired.

I'm sorry meaty that stinks. I hope you guys work it out. I feel your pain with messing up the diet starting with drinks, it throws me for a loop and sends me on a careless way of eating. Let's keep on fighting the good fight!

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Alcohol can surely bring out the worse in some folks. Hopefully you learned from the experience and you can repair the damage. I personally hate what alcohol does to some people because of my experience with it growing up. Best wishes to you on the diet front and with your girlfriend!

I'm sorry your gal left....hopefully you two can work this out....alcohol just makes a mess of things, doesn't it? Too many calories and foot in mouth disease....;)
