Mind, it is 5am. Leafeater Bex has been here since Monday afternoon. We did pizza Monday evening, Zizzi's, makes a change of course but not something I'd normally be inclined to do. Since then we've eaten in and I've had protein shakes and eggs and fish (which was rather frowned upon) and many, many peanuts, decent ones from Grape Tree (online outlet, recommended). Bex has been in front of the telly all week (last two seasons of GOT and all available Supernaturals...) and I watched the GOTs along with her for the most part, hence eating the peanuts. I tend to munch when I'm watching the telly. I watch very little though left to my own devices. Anyhoo, interesting thing is I saw .400 on the ketometer yesterday. Keto starts at .5. I'm awake early here and have had another go and it reads .7. That's very interesting. It appears starting the day with a protein shake (as I have been) and then eating mostly peanuts is a fast track, for me at least, to keto. I've had no meat at all as the Leafeater can't abide the smell of it. This is very interesting and encouraging. It appears ketosis might be something I can quite easily slip in and out of now I know what works for me. That's very encouraging :-)
