I was wondering how this week would go with all the eating out and the Cardinals game Saturday night. I’m going to the Rec-Plex to lift every other day, and walking the dogs when I can/it’s not raining. Still trying new spices/recipes and monitoring CICO. Got a wonderful NSV yesterday—after 15+ years of taking high blood pressure medicine, my doctor dropped it completely yesterday! The doctor had me go down to half of what I was taking these last two weeks, but I was still getting dizzy when I’d stand up, and my blood pressure was pretty low. So yesterday’s visit clinched it—92/60. I have a cuff here at home to monitor, and I go back in a month for a final re-check, but I couldn’t be more grateful. Another FS bonus is in the bag! 😍🎉💪🏻

Thanks! Couldn’t have done it without you all! I almost joined Noom, but it was $50 a month, and that’s more than our Rec-Plex yearly membership by itself. In the past, one of our daughters told my husband about FS, and they both were being successful. But at the time I was trying to still work between surgeries, and our sons and their special needs just wore us out. Hence, we ate junk and a lot of fast/processed food, and we both gained weight/were inactive. So when January started, I’m so glad I bypassed Noom and found you all instead! How long have you all been using FS?

Lara, I started here October 2017. I am a bit embarrassed to write that, because I haven't achieved what I had hoped for within this time frame . I am still working on it, so that's what I try to focus on, most of the time. ❤
