Praise the Lord for "comically poor" bingeing! That's something you don't want to be an expert in! 

Nothing like a failed binge attempt! Hang in there!  

I have a friend for like 30 years who is the most toxic person I know. Nothing good ever comes out of her mouth and can find something bad in the best of things. She can't be wrong and will talk to everyone until she finds someone who agrees and than will say well so and so agrees, why do I stay friends, I ask myself that all the time. I think cause it's familiar nothing more and have long history when she was generally a happy person. She mimics everything. I order towels she orders towels, I say I love meatloaf she goes out to dinner and orders it, you guest it...but of course the towels were not good and she sent back the meatloaf lol this is just an example seriously it's everything. She makes me nuts she's like a pitbull when she latches on to an argument she will keep going and going, kind of like this lol till I'm so exhausted I shutdown, but inside I'm so freakened woundup. At the end of day I know sometimes we need to walk away from people that cause more harm than good not good for overeaters and in general...ugh! 

Yeah, those emotional binges. They are like, 'I'll show you" as if shoving food into my mouth is going to hurt the person who's already hurt me. Eventually the logic fails. 

very true @carrot sticks. TBH I am debating whether to dump this friend because beyond our current tiff, she is really negative about most things and I don't think I need that in my life?

Yeah... it's all fun & games until you step on the scale 4 years later..
