Hi, I just happened to see your journal entry on the main page. What you are describing is often what people discover to be a gluten allergy. However, it is more commonly an imbalance in gastro-intestinal flora. You might want to invest in a good pro-biotic like bio-k for a couple of months to get yourself back on track, or even consider doing a candida cleanse if you are showing other sypmtoms of posisble candida overgrowth. I would also suggest investigating food combining to make sure your combining foods that promote good digestion. Hope these suggestions help! 

Dairy tends to bloat me and cause gas - yogurt helps, though.  

Oh thank you!! I have read a lot of different causes of severe gas and bloating. Have tried the gluten free and dairy free diet and it seems to help when I take both of those out at the same time. But I'm just miserable feeling like this...I am 26 and single and because of this issue I have not wanted to be around friends or anybody other than my family because I feel so fat and have so much nasty gas (TMI, sorry). I actually started taking Papaya/Peppermint Enzymes a couple days ago and Probiotics, it hasn't helped so far but I am going to continue taking them for a while to see if anything changes. I will definitely look into the candida cleanse. Thanks so much for all of the information!!
