It was exciting this morning trying on a wool Ralph Loren pantsuit I had bought years ago at a thrift store, and having it fit to wear to church. It was a smaller size than I have worn in quite a long time. Now I know Ralph Loren probably runs big, and I had taken out the side seams of the pants at some time, because I always was bigger on the bottom than on the top, but it was fun to go shopping in my closet where I keep wool items.
Since I have lost 2 3/4" in height and thickened in the middle I can't wear pants at the same weight I could years ago. But with Intermittent Fasting and trying to move toward Keto, I can get into more and more of my old clothes, maybe I can even say most. Woo hoo!
I have no idea how old this pantsuit is but it has tight narrow pants ending at the ankle. Those have gone in and out of style repeatedly over the years, and are back in style now. This suit has leather trim at the edge of the sleeve cuffs and on the pockets and leans towards the western look. It is just classic and I always loved it, which made me remember I paid $22.00 for it. Boy, I'm glad it doesn't have big wide lapels. The jacket is kind of long for me, being so short, but Ralph Loren makes beautiful clothes. What fun.
