I lost like a couple of ounces.. I'm seeing how important this whole exercise thing is! Time to introduce myself to my Eliptical in my livingroom. I call it "Troy". Me and Troy are going to have to get to know eachother in a quick rush!
Today is my birthday and I feel like I'm on the right track and still thankful to have found this site. Its the lowest I've been in 2 or 3 years.
In 2005/2006 ended a ruff journey of 14 years with me ranging in weight from 82 lbs to at the very most 108 lbs. I think back to that time and alot of people liked the whole emaciated down to the bone sorta look. My social life was certainly alot more lively. When I started to eat again (and I had to learn how)... and the weight started to creep up??..I hardly got a glance from anyone, not even a hello.
You can become invisible to people! People working in the building I work in that used to hit on me and make conversation just went out of their way to not speak to me.
I wasn't interested in a relationship anyway, but that kind of behaviour just affects you, whether you want to admit it or not, it does. I just wanted to say to them..."I don't want to marry you.. for crying out loud!" or something like "you're no prize yourself". I just couldn't be cruel like that.
I wonder do people even realise they are shunning you? Having been one thats been on both sides of the fence weight wise I speak from the heart and with my truth on it.
Ok enough with the ramblings.. I'm going to get to know "Troy".
