I used my scale at home so I'm not sure how accurate this number is. I'm feeling a little frustrated because although it's not a lot of weight loss, I expected to feel a little difference but i don't feel anything.

Stick with it and hang in there. You are doing good things and your body is changing in response. It may take a while until you feel it but you will. Keep the faith!

Hang in there - you have a lot going on, and when you work hard at something for a payment like a weight loss it's like a paycheck - you deserve it, but you have more work to do!

Thank you both for the encouraging words! I've tried losing weight before, many times, but end up failing miserably. This time feels different. I'm not going to give up, I'm going to hang in there.

For me, I didn't see or feel the results until I had lost about 7 lbs. My measurements didn't keep up with the scale at first.

Stay the course and you will feel the results; I could always lose 10 pounds and not feel anything and no one would notice. I think part of the issue is we get so used to "seeing" ourselves a certain way and it takes time and mindfulness to change you self-image. You will get there!

It's a long haul, but you're making progress. Go carry round a 5 lb bag of flour for a little while. That's a significant amount for your frame to have lost. I'm proud of you, and I hope you enjoy your weekend!!

Keep going! I feel your pain, it took almost 12 pounds before anyone noticed my loss. Now I’m down 20 and so few people comment that it gets frustrating. But I feel better about myself and I still have a ways to go. I haven’t been doing anything special except watching calorie intake and actually eating breakfast which I always skipped . Still enjoy a cocktail or piece of candy. Different things work for different people, but whatever works for you just stay with it and you can do it!

I am down 36# and i am only just starting to notice very subtle changes. I even weighed at doc office and that scale agrees with my home scale. But logic tells me that sooner or later it is going to have to show, so i am taking pix and just having faith in keeping on it!

Wow, all of you are super supportive! I love the comment about carrying around a 5# bag, I'm going to apply that to my thinking. I'm looking forward to the day i see real change but for now I'll just take progress pics of the scale, hahaha. Have a great Mother's Day to all the moms, stepmoms, caregivers, single parents!
