Ok! I’m violating my own rules. Finally things have started to feminist in front of my eyes! I jumped on the scale and — shear delight!!! Of course next week I am going on a yoga retreat ( strange non Keto foods); then on to visit our friends from distant lands for 4 days! We always ‘do’ cocktails, wine and fine dining... and I love it! This is going to challenge me to the core! I hope I can be strong and stay on target! Somehow, this morning in the comfort of my home I intellectually know NO drink is worth it; NO bread or pasta or desert can make me feel better than I will without so much weight. I have so struggled and tried and obsessed over weight loss. Next weekend will be the ultimate challenge! Who’s the biggest looser? My psyche or my scale? Stay tuned to see! Oh, and happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful women who shape the world by your love and hard work of raising wonderful self-sustaining children!!!!!

Who is going to win?.. YOU ARE. You are going to win because while keeping in mind your goals and make good you are going to enjoy life! There is never a downside to having a cocktail and some bread/pasta in an environment of laughter and joy among friends. Sure make good choices toward moderation but life life and squeeze all the joy from it you can while you do. If you fall 'off script' a bit, so what? Just get right back on once you are back. Enjoy the time because ultimately you so gots this!
