Ok, so I was pretty bad over the weekend so I am surprised at the monday morning weigh in. I didn't eat super unhealthy, but I did go over on the calorie intake some and ate more carbs than I really wanted to. BUT I did manage to squeeze in a short time to exercise, which would be the first time since I had surgery at the end of May. I am pretty sore today and think I might of slightly over done it, but it did feel great to get back on my maxiclimber!! It is a new week and fingers crossed I don't fall off the wagon like I did over the weekend :)

Not what I was expecting when I got on the scale this morning, but I will take it as a win for now. Hoping next weeks weigh in will be better :)

KETO DIETS---
Dos/Don'ts?
Helpful information/advise?
Anyone doing something like this and finding it helpful?
I have had alot of health issues the past 5 1/2 months, high liver enzymes and possible fatty liver disease (these are the least of the issues that have been going on). I was told to cut back on carbs and that a Keto friendly diet would probably work for me, but I don't know much about it.
(Weird/odd fact---these liver issues began AFTER I made some lifestyle changes last year...go figure!)

I have done really well with calorie counting today. I had breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared before I went to bed and had the calories counted. I feel pretty good about this..so far! Today is just day 1.

I have been making lifestyle changes over the past year. I have completly changed the way I eat. I cut out beef for ground turkey. I haven't had any soda in almost a year (i have a few sips here and there, bad I know, but I can't help it sometimes), added more veggies,etc. I do like my sweets though. I have been very good, but have slowly started to regress back into some old eating habits..increasing portion sizes, sneaking more desserts, eating later in the evening, and I have cut back on exercising. I have NO idea what is wrong with me. In the past year I have lost about 53 lbs. That is pretty good for me considering how much I was eating before. I have noticed that some things that I used to eat, cut out, and try to eat now make me very sick. I have a goal to lose about 9-10 more lbs before I leave for vacation in 25 days. I know this is not a realistic goal to have, but I am trying to be optimistic LOL. I need to start calorie counting, but I have NO idea how to even begin. HELP!!!!
