I have been on a roller coaster for the past 2 years and I have tried numerous times to get myself back on track and I have failed miserably every time. I can safely say that I have endured a lot and have gone through a lot of transitions that may have derailed me. Luckily I have gained traction this past month and I have made some progress. I actually got back to my heaviest weight of 295.I was that heavy back in November of 2006. I worked out and lost a majority of my weight through a healthy diet and a steady workout. Once I got down to 215 in October of 2007 I got complacent and decided that I was at the weight that I wanted to be at and no longer had to work out to maintain my weight. Boy was I wrong. With a disrespect for food and neglecting my body I gained what I what lost in a year and a half.
Early this January I got a pain in my hip and it caused me a lot of pain. I had a lot of problems getting out of my car and getting out of bed. I got to a point where I could not do the things that are supposed to come easy to me, like tie my own shoes. Once I got the infection in my hip to go away I told myself that I was going to get back in shape and get my life back. I got my brother to start going to the gym with me and we hit the gym in full force. In the month of May 2010 I lost 14 lbs. It was a great accomplishment for me since this was the 1st time I went to the gym for a full month and kept my commitment to a better healthier me. I decided to start using my fat secret to help motivate me and keep me even more focused. I hope I can stick it out this time around.

Very bad holiday week. I think I could have controlled it a bit but I just let go and indulged almost every single day of last week.

I have been off the workout and diet goal for at least 2 months. If anyone tells you that when bad things happen that it will not distract you from doing what you want to do has not gone through the bad patch like I obviously did. I gained some weight, Lost my motivation and got really depressed. I kept telling myself that I need to clock back in but it just seemed so much easier to eat bad and feel sorry for myself. So today I decided to get back on it. I am 33 weeks from my birthday and want to lose 60 lbs. I am really hoping to get back into the groove of things. Wish me luck.....

Today was a good day! I feel great and have kept myself on schedule on my eating and exercise so far this week.

Long stressful day!!!! Good thing is that I ate very good and I ended up going to the gym to get the frustration out of my system. I got another 2 miles in for this week and did a back exercise that damn near killed me. it was one of those workouts that you just know that your going to feel in the days to come. I plan to weigh in tomorrow although for some odd reason I tend to put on weight when I exercise and eat well, but when I tend to eat a bad meal I lose a pound or two. So if I put on a pound or two tomorrow I got to remind myself not to beat myself up on it and stay focused.....
