This month, my double chin has almost gone! I’ve given up my daily coffee shop coffee and feel better for drinking less caffeine. Still drinking coffee just not a strong shop one. Mediterranean woe working for the budget although I’m spending more on food, I eat it all & there is very little waste as leftovers used as meals and it’s all so tasty it works out well. Also eating out much less as there is nice food at home. Also have been including a dessert (single serve) daily which I’ve never done before in my life, but I am enjoying it and have been able to pass on the chocolate, which I always ended up eating more of (just one more square..) so right now that also seems to be working out. Next month I’m increasing exercise & see how that impacts hunger/hanger. Have a good Sunday if you’ve read this far 🙂

Mediterranean WOE is for me I’ve realised after trying various restriction diets. I am eating the best variation of foods I have for a long time. I am enjoying my food and feel satiated. Less snacks and less extras are needed. I have gone down a belt hole since starting without counting (I will need to be more attentive as time passes). I have not weighed. I am eating a lot more carbs than I thought I was able but as these are extremely low sugars it appears to be sitting well with me. This does include either bread or potatoes or pasta at every meal but nutrient dense items. I am not excluding anything. My plates look balanced and I do not eat what I don’t enjoy, thinking “it’s healthy” and then still eat what I want after. I feel like my food crazy switch has been disabled and I just enjoy my food, which is quite a major step forward for me. Plus I feel like this is giving me all the options I need to make choices well when I dine out in the future or travel on holiday which is important to me. Oven baked, just add water. However quite dry. Maybe they need the oil to fry in to be proper tasty.

1/2 meals today. Pesto and tomato on toast. Two tinned peach halves with full fat Greek yogurt (4 spoonfuls), cinnamon and pumpkin & sunflower seeds. Black coffee. Have a good day everyone.
