So, greedy bastard that I am, I dropped off the wagon, tumbled along the road for a few seconds and slid into a ditch where I lay, disorientated and semi-comatose, shoving pies and cakes into my gob with mucho gusto and no restraint.
The end result is, of course, my highest weight ever. 260 pounds. Sweet baby jeebus, what a bloater!
You know what? I am tired.....
I am tired of being tired.
I am tired of hurting all the time.
I am tired of sweating my ass off.
I am tired of seeing my fat head in the mirror.
I am tired of pulling the front of my shirts down all the time as they ride up over my gut.
I am tired of the struggle to reach my feet just to put my damn socks on.
I am tired of huffing and puffing after going upstairs.
I am tired of laying on the couch watching tv.
I am tired of looking at other people and thinking "am i that big? do i look like that?"
I AM going to do this thing this time around. I got down to 195 a couple of years back and by god I AM going to get there again, and beyond. I know I can do it, all it takes is will power and conviction and belief in myself.
I CAN AND WILL DO THIS THING.

So i might just as well have copied and pasted my last journal entry from a year ago. Back up to 241 pounds, disgusted with myself. New start, one more time, jump back on the wagon, yada yada yada. Mumsy comes to visit this summer tho and the last time she saw me i was 195. I have five months to drop 45 pounds, 9 pounds a month, two pounds a week....got to be do-able... right?

Every time i get to that magical 200# and under i fall off the wagon. gone back up to 220 now, not happy at myself, stopped running, stopped recording, ate what ever the hell i wanted, sammiches at bed time, triple servings of pasta, whole pizzas from dominos with their cheesy bread, this has to staahhhhhhppppp.

A few too many calories this week, maintained which is ok, better numbers next week, just trying to tie weigh-in day (which is fridays for us) to challenge week endings and it dont quite work out.

So i just cut the grass, sit and ride mower so not a lot of effort, but it was hot out there.
Cooking myself a pack of bertolli's chicken risotto, not a bad deal at 680 cals for the package (2 servings it says...yeah, like ELF servings)...put my hand on the back door handle to go to the little fridge where we keep drinks and grab a beer...as a reward for mowing.
Paused, and said, aloud, "no, i am grilling tomorrow, i will have a few beers then, i dont need one tonight".
I believe that is what they call, in WW, a NSV or non-scale victory.
Quite pleased with myself right now
