OMG...where to start? This last monday i get a call from my mom's BF he says she's talking incohereintly and has fallena nd can't get up! Yeah like the commercial! Any way i tell him to call 911 and get her to the hosp. she has been sick almost three yrs now being diagnosed with colon cancer. So she gets to the hosp and she in unresponsive, neurologically but is breathing fine and heart wise is fine... at this point I know it's her liver...see she has a very bad functioning liver, anyway her amonia level is 186 and norm is (drum roll) below 2 I think anyway way too damn high...oh yeah and did i mention my mom lives in Idaho 280 miles away, so she can't swallow cause she's basically comatose, they put a nasogastro tube down her nose to get her the only medicine, which is a thick liquid to get her amonia down, i honestly think she scared the hell out of the little "Mayberry" hosp in the small town she lives in. So, I'm an only child of course it's my responsibility to go and make descisions for her...Tuesday I drive the milage to get to her..she's still comatose...wednesday she opened her eyes for my at the end of the day...thursday she would open her eys spontaneously and say one to two words...today she was talking asking for food and wanted to know what day it was!!!!! These are all good signs she's pulling out of it...OK now it's about me!!! I couldn't weigh in on wednesday..not gonna use someone elses scale and of course it's red river time of the month for me...I tried m,y best to do my counting but in the woods sometimes ya don't have cell service...goona work on getting it..in tonight..gotta work tomorrow...Pray for my mom!!! So, the last couple days have been filled with regret and doubt! It's my time of month to shine like the red river and it haunts me with cravings and scared acknowledgement that I just might be on the road to recovery...with this tears of happy,saddness fill my eyes becuase I know where I'm at in life and where I'm going...Damn hormones!!!! I just need to get over this hump and I can get back to the good work I've been doing for myself... I appreciate all the good words and soft nudges I get from you...you know who you are!!!! As the cramps go by so do the fears I'm having!! again Thanx for listening!

Off early today for low census...decided to do some gardening...oooo those cherry tomatoes are awesome and sweet!!! Did fairly well at work need to do some walking tonight, when the heat is down a bit...
