Doing OK. Missing my friend - a best friend for life who died January 20th. I have no appetite, which is good. I will likely lose the thirty pounds I need to lose by summertime. Weather is cold and sunny. I am eating three very light meals a day. I am not hungry, which is good. I am making sure to take extra vitamins.

Dieting going well. My scale might have been off last week and is right now. My best friend would have been 50 today, he died a week ago today. I took his cats two days ago - they are in my basement - I have a cat and a dog in a townhouse condo. I will let them out at 6 p.m. - I think one will come out fairly fast, the little one may take more time. The groomer told me to put vanilla extract on their noses (and the cat I inherited from my mom too) so they will get used to each other better. I will do writing and reading today and watch Australian Open tennis later today.

Dieting going well. Appetite poor due to loss of a friend last week, he passed. I am losing anyway. I guess it is part of grieving. I am making sure to get enough vitamins. The weather is cold, but it is the end of January in Massachusetts. My sisters are basically witches, do not want to communicate with me in any way, very self-absorbed 1 million per cent, I call - it is like "drop dead." They are out of my will and shall never, ever be in any future will even if I am ever worth a fortune the way they treat me. Their descendants are in it. My dad has the life insurance for now. I adopted my deceased friend's two cats - they are good animals, he would have wanted me to take them. The woman that was going to take them really could not afford them as she is poor and retired. Have a good evening, everyone - and NO late night snacking!

A dear friend passed on Wednesday. I was holding his hand like a handshake when he passed on. I will miss him very much, I already do. He will be forever young as he passed at only 49. --- How do you accept friend requests on here now? Someone sent one this week and this site changed... oh, I just found it under My Buddies. It is confusing on this site now, it was more user-friendly five years ago - believe me - easier to use and more people using it. The new way it is now has gotten less people on it and has taken people off the site in my opinion.

Doing so-so. My best friend passed yesterday. I was there holding his hand. It was very hard to deal with. The past five years he has been the person in my life I have been closest to. I will miss him very much. I don't have much of an appetite now. I am drinking ginger root - grated into tea.
