I kept to my diet fairly well this week. I splurged intentionally on sunday and binged on thursday, but i never really fell off the wagon. I worked out every day and made sure that i had a calorie deficit everyday. I can do this!

I got stressed. I ate. I binged last night. luckily the only food we had in the house was life cereal. I ate half a box before I stopped and had a huge glass of skim milk.The damage was minimal. I was really missing my dad and I was upset with my husband. That was the first time I've binged in about 5 months, I recognized the behavior and i will NOT do it again.
I feel so disgusted with myself.

They had the big drop a pants size party at my gym last night and I won. I was so happy. I got $500. I lost 61 lbs from Jan 16 to April 17th. 20.4 % of my body weight. I was pretty impressed with myself. Now I just need the motivation to keep going. I have about 45 more lbs to go. Vegas July 1st. I gotta look good!

So I fell off the wagon yesterday. Or really more or less jumped off willingly. I knew what I was doing. I just finished this challenge at my gym called the Drop a Pants Size challenge which lasted from Jan 16th to April 17th. In that time I lost 61 lbs 20.4% of my weight. I had barely ever cheated so I thought I would treat myself.
So Sunday started off with pancakes, just 2 with light margarine and syrup. I also had some of my favorite candy, well more like the whole bag. Cadbury mini eggs that my husband had been dutifully hiding since Easter. They were good, but I have to admit, they didn't taste as good as I remembered. I didn't have any lunch because we were shopping all day but then we went to Applebees for dinner. I had the 550 calorie meal, the steak one, but we had an appetizer trio of buffalo wings, wanton tacos, and queso dip. I split that with my husband. It was good, but still not and good as I had built up in my head. When we were done in the spirit of my cheat day we finished up with a trip to Dairy Queen where I had a small oreo cheese quake blizzard. It was good.
My best estimate is that I ate somewhere between 3000-3500 calories yesterday. I do not want to plug it in and find out. My body instantly felt like crap and today, I feel horrible. My digestive system isn't working right, my mind is cloudy, and my body just isn't where I expect it to be.
I realize now that I get a better feeling from getting on that scale and seeing the weight come off than I did from that chocolate or fried food. So no more cheat day for me. Since November 11th 2009 I have lost 98lbs, I am 45ish lbs away from my goal. I would much rather hit my goal than eat like crap. I have learned my lesson.
