Yesterday was a so/so day on the road back.
Nutrition wasn't bad -- between 1800 & 1900 calories, but the mix is still off. Not enough protein by a long shot.
Barely drank any water at all and while I did go to workout, it was cut short by late work and a twinge in my knee while lifting. Wasn't a tear and it feels fine now, but that twist was way to sharp to be ignored. Wasn't paying attention doing a set of dead lifts with a 2kg bell. That's a good way to knock myself out for a long while. Fortunately, seems like I dodged a bullet but it was a good reminder not to rush and to pay attention.
Working out later this morning, so the level of activity has definitely picked up this week. Going away this weekend, so need to sustain it tomorrow and make sure to start up again when I get back to my routine on Monday.

Two days back you shouldn't get frustrated.
Yeah, ok.
Tracked my food, ate a reasonable number of calories well under replacement level,drank a crazy amount of water and pulled a double workout -- that frankly, beat the crap out of me.
Pure insanity to get this out of shape and turn back into a blob.
All of that and I step on the scale to see my weight go up 1 1/2 pounds.
Bad scale? Dying battery? Salt?
This is the crap that challenges my calm. Again, I know if I stick it out I'll be where I need to be. But, jeez.
Ended up taking in about 300 less calories yesterday, but my workout consisted of typing on a laptop for work, having popcorn for "dinner" and not drinking enough.
Need to do better today and get in, at least a 400 calorie workout.

Woke up around 445, fell asleep about 1215.
Good spirits.
Played cards and thought through my day for about an hour.
Breakfast wasn't bad, except the bagel.
Loaded up the water container for the first time in months. Going to try to get back into all good habits for a week. Need to start somewhere. Here is "go".
In good shape at work. Facing some deadlines, but nothing I shouldn't achieve. PFF workout and class later today. Let's see how I hold up with a double.
Drank 120 oz of water, ate healthy about 1850 calories and did a double workout. Struggled on the second one, but slowed down didn't stop.
A good first day back.
Need to stick with it tomorrow.
And so it begins.... (again)
