today was very busy. finishing up last minute things before tomorrow. washed and vaccumed the car. grocery shopping. lettuce chopping. lunch packing. dinner cooking. meal planning. baby washing. organize, organize, organize! be ready! no hiccups in tomorrow's schedule! i will have NO time for it. (best laid plans of mice and men)... anyways, with this hectic schedule i will be logging all of my calories the night before with the exeption of dinner. i make my lunch and snacks the night before and can easly take time to log them as well. it will help to keep me on track. it's actually pretty nice. i have all of my calories in one lunch bag ready to eat. i have an idea of the calories that i will be eating the next day and seeing that number really reminds me that there is no room for snack, extra bites, that yummy latte that keeps screaming my name, and all the other temptations that cross my mind on a daily basis! first day of college, here i come! with my lunch! lol ;)

I was feeling a little out of sorts today. I found myself hungry.. A LOT, eating what felt like A LOT, and wanting A LOT more. Breakfast consisted of 3 hard boiled eggs, a thin bagel with peanut butter, and half of a banana. I felt like I was over doing it but also felt the need for protein. Lunch was pretty normal but instead of having 1 serving of the soup I ended up having both. About 1 to 2 hours after lunch I was fighting the urge to binge. Instead of doing that, I got up off of my butt and got busy doing things around the house. A LOT of things. I spent the rest of the day and evening organizing, cleaning, and getting ready for Monday (first day of College for me, back to daycare for the baby who had been at home with mommy for the past 2 months). Needless to say, but I will... I didn't snack all day, and had a late dinner that was fulfilling and decent on the diet calender. Also, extra bonus was the amount of calories I burned doing house work that I needed to get done anyways. Where I thought it was going to be a horibble day for calories turned out to be one of my best in progress so far on this journey. Just goes to show, you can learn new habits and break some too. When you find yourself slipping, get up and remind yourself what you're doing before you fall. Get up and get going even if you don't feel like it. You will be happy you did once you get going and it will bring you back to your focus point.
