I have had a 40 pound weight gain in the past 5 years, since I quit smoking in 2008. I am over 50 years old and went through menopause at age 42. I am very active as I work at the Post Office as a Mail Carrier. I have no desire to work out or exercise beyond work. My ONLY way of losing this extra 40 pounds PLUS, is to DIET and I use 100% Yacon Syrup to stop the cravings in between meals. I take 1 teaspoon 30 min before each meal 3 times a day. It REALLY works to stop thinking about food at night before going to bed, which has always been my weakness. I heard about it on the DR. OZ SHOW. I am hoping to stick as close as possible to a 1,200 calories a day DIET. I live in Clearwater Florida and Married to my 2nd husband Frank in 2004. Frank and I have a daughter named Brooke born in 2009. I also have a daughter from my first marriage named Michelle who is married to the love of her life Michael, as of 2012. They have two beautiful daughters, named Zoey born in 2012 and Tegan born 2014. Frank and I both are Letter Carriers at the Post Office. We have two Labrador Retriever dogs. Molly, she is our yellow lab and Kobe, he is our black Lab. We have one Cat and her name is Sidney. I have lived in Florida now since 1990 and I am originally from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.
