Monday, 8/14/17 Steps = 17,796
Very satisfied with this week's loss. Had visitors in town and had to eat in restaurants three times. I am really trying to focus on my weight loss goal, so all the restaurant dinners had to be tightly controlled. I also had to try and do 'trades' with alcohol and food. Each extra glass of wine had to be compensated for somehow.
In the past, going out to dinner was ALWAYS a treat. Now I understand that some dinners are purely social and should not be an excuse to overeat and abandon healthy eating.
Last night I had fun with friends. I did not eat bread, potato or pasta. My chicken breast with broccoli was boring. But today, I had a good loss and at least I had a night off from cooking dinner!
