Oh, well. A 22 hour fast is still a fast.

Nephew came by yesterday afternoon and cleaned the carpets. Have kept my sweet potato on a leash since then and really working on potty training. Finally got hubby on board. He feels sorry for her that she can't have the run of the house.

I explained it will be better for her to be completely housebroken. Surely, she can sense our anger and disappointment every time we find a wet spot on the carpet or poop on the floor, yet doesn't understand why. Don't know how long this will take, but my guess is when we say "go potty" and she goes, we will be there.
