Been so busy...gardening season is in full swing and with all the lovely rain we have been getting the weeds and grass are keeping us very active. I have been digging up excess plants and potting them up for more plantings in other areas...i like the thriftiness of plant propagation... I do spend enough at the nurseries, but it's nice to save a few $$$$! I like composting and turning yard waste and kitchen scraps into dirt...yeah, I am a country girl.

I have been taking care of myself and have not recorded a single morsel I have put in my mouth for about 6 weeks. GUESS WHAT??? I have not gained a pound and I have not felt the angst or pressure of food driven obsessions. I feel good! I now, am wondering if I can inch my way down a few pounds without getting all wrapped up in the dieting/exercising obsession.

My family is doing well and taking care of Dad has been pretty carefree as of late. My mother-in-law is as sassy as ever (95) OMG! It is what it is!!!There are little struggles along the way, but all in all...LIFE IS GOOD! I have missed everyone and it was good reading some journals and catching up. Have a great day everyone!
