Woo, back down to where I should have been last week.

Which is surprising, since I was unable to workout from Thursday-Monday. I had the wonderful experience of discovering that I've become allergic to the sun. Was outside for maybe a half hour on Wednesday, developed a bad rash/burn, and then suffered under the most mind-blowingly torturous itchyness for three days. And not just itchiness like you get from a normal sunburn healing. But like, fire ants are burrowing into my skin and eating me alive and I can't do anything to get relief.

But thanks to the wonder of emergency rooms and copious amounts of narcotics and antihistamines, I slept through most of it. But never again. I will be pasty white for life.

Wow - that sounds terribly uncomfortable - glad you got relief, and congrats on getting back down in your weight.

Staying out of the sun will have a BIG payoff as you get older. At 23 a doctor told me "if you keep your face out of the sun it will look as young as your bottom". At 65 I am so glad I listened.

This is very true. I take really good care of my skin, but used to be lax in my sunscreen usage, just because I love having a bit of a tan. At least I won't be tempted anymore!
