Well, another ounce down means I'll not be so round! I have weathered the Trust Fall Challenge and brought my nemesis, the scale, back from banishment. I do think I will keep it away and only weigh every week or every other week. I can't handle the daily fluctuations on the scale (they make me kah-ray-zee)!! Looking ahead to my next Challenge: Fed Up to Well-Fed this Summer! The food posts start today :D

I can understand how you feel. I went almost a whole week without weighing myself because of what you said about daily fluctuations.

Way to go! The daily ups and downs of the scale would drive me crazy too. Sometimes I think we spend too much time on the scale and not enough evaluating how to make it go down. Way to keep it in perspective.

Great news on the Trust Fall. I think most of us have decided to miss out on daily fluctuations and weigh every week or so as a result. Good luck with your next challenge!

You are doing great! If you find (as I have) that I simply cannot seem to stay off of the scale, what keeps me sane is a little notebook in which I write my daily weight. At the end of the week, I total the daily weights and divide by 7 to get my average weight for the week. Then I can compare it to the previous week's average to see if I went up or down. Keep up the good work, and remember - a bad day will happen now and again, but it is still a good life!
