Hello my name is Kim, I am happily married to my husband of 27 years. I have 17 year old twins boy/girl. I worked 25 years as a practice manager for a physician’s office.
I love spending time with my family, gardening, and traveling.
I have never struggled with weight basically my intire life. I was an avid runner and will run between 3 to 9 miles every day and Would work weights in the gym.
I have always been a healthy eater, so that was never an issue.
Here is where my real journey started. When I was 38 years old, my heart went into an abnormal rhythm end it interfered with my running, as my heart would get so rapid I would end up in the hospital. I ended up having an eight hour surgery to correct my heart rhythm.
No forward many years. After my heart surgery, breast cancer and many multiple autoimmune diseases,lupus to need one A rare lung disease that requires oxygen. Multiple cocktail of medications, including large doses of steroids and chemo. No out of work, finding myself unable to get out of bed most days and combination of medications. My way of 120 pounds would change to 200 pounds over a long period of time. NoW I want my life back. So here I am. To seek help In support from others., and to give inspirations to others struggling to others lose weight.
