Day 3 of a planned 5 days of mostly ‘no solid food’ fasting
I am so sick I had to leave work early yesterday.
Of course, I felt like breaking the diet and stopping off at McDonald’s on the way home.
I know the truth for me, is that from experience, *not* digesting food is easier on my body when I am sick.
Also I look at my weight chart and it is undeniably showing that for the past two months I have been steadily gaining weight.
If I don’t turn things around by next week I may need to do one of my 7-11 day ‘pure water fasts’.

Hope you feel better. And then just get back to doing what works for you. 7-11 day water fast sounds too difficult for me.

I've never done pure water fast, but was able to pull off a 10 day master cleanser once, just water, lemon, maple syrup.

Remember fasting should feed your soul and you need to listen to your body for direction as we must be one in spirit and in soul.
Please be careful to not go to the extreme. I found that if you are using a liquid fast that some protein powder with a juice might help you from being so weak.

Sorry you’re sick. Perhaps it’s time to raise the calories and ‘reset your metabolism’? It doesn’t work for everyone I guess but it helped me.

I hope you feel better soon! I had a stomach virus for 4 days after New Year's eve, thankfully I'm better now. It took several days for my appetite to return.
