I think people tell us we are getting too skinny because they want to sabotage our efforts. You are right to just smile. I tell them I am doing what is best for my health, especially my heart. I am having luck with eating a smoothie at dinner (early, like 4-5:30) cup frozen strawberries/half cup banana/1/2 cup plain yogurt with dropper of Stevia for sweetener/half tsp of flaxmeal to add fiber. Plain almond milk if need thinner. I do eat a huge lunch, but plant-based is so nutritious & full of fiber. Love potatoes! Folks at WW always staying away from potatoes while I am the thinnest in the group and I always rave about eating potatoes every day!
You keep up the good work. I am so inspired by your efforts. Even being at WW goal, it is still work, always has been, always will be. So we all need to surround ourselves with inspirational people...and you are surely a special one!

I had a woman my age ask me in the grocery store the other day and she said the same thing, she could never do that. some people just can't change or I should say they don't want to give up the things that made them fat.

I try to avoid her if I can because every time I see her we have the same conversation. I would think by now she would know exactly how I have lost weight. I guess she is hoping there is a secret pill or something. I am just going to keep doing what I am doing regardless of her or anyone's opinion. I am going about it in a healthy way and am definitely not underweight.

Some people want to let us know they notice. I’m sure she means well. And to be honest you probably do look very skinny compared to most Americans these days. Keep going until you are happy as long as you are doing it in a healthy way and are healthy when you hit your goal ;).

I find that when someone says that to me, it gets in my head. That's when I start thinking" one doughnut won't hurt" then 20 pounds later I'm crying bcuz it happened again. DO NOT let her derail you. Be very careful with your inner conversation.

Sometimes I hath to hear and don't hear. I'm around people all the time that is negative about what I'm doing and is overweight and is doing nothing but complaining about their complications. I would rather be doing something than to end up later trying to decide whether I have enough money for meds. keep shining. Everyone will never be on aboard with you.

I usually think they are trying to be nice telling me I don't need to lose anymore. I think most people are trying to be encouraging and are actually saying you've done an amazing job. They don't realize what the best thing to say is - it's different for everyone. I rarely think people are jealous when they comment. I think they may be jealous when they DON'T acknowledge what you've done. Then some people are embarrassed to say anything.

I hate how the same people that say you’re too thin, will judge you in your bikini body. You have to be comfortable in your own skin and be able to keep up with your kids. Keep at it girl!

I track my weight, BMI, and body fat. I am still at 30% body fat aiming between 20% and 25%.
