This was a VERY stressful week! I think I did well considering. I had a mind freeze on May 5th and made enchiladas for Cinquo de Mayo but only had a bit and then walked the next day. Isn't that what it;s all about? Balance? Jillian said so on The Biggest Loser! LOL

I haven't been following the diet very closely at all because I've been more concerned with eating locally grown foods so a lot of South Beach stuff is out. I'm interested in the 100 Mile Diet ideas and have been blogging about them lately at www.taracronica.com
Only visit my site if you think you want to know more about me and what I do. Only part of it is about dieting. Lots about what it's like to be a woman living in today's world.
I think I have to change the stats for the diet I'm on so here goes. I've forgotten how to do anything on this site! It's so new and updated-like! Cool! Hi friends I haven't seen in so long! Hope you're all doing well!

I've totally fallen off the wagon! This whole weekend I have to go out of town for my daughter's dance competition so I could be in trouble. I'm going to stop at the grocery store first and bring lots of good food because we'll have a kitchen in the condo and I'll just have to be strict. Plus it'll be cheaper than eating out for 4 days. The tricky part is that it's a bunch of moms and daughters so there will be some fun happening. I MUST remain strong. Good thing is there will be lots of time for me to go for long hikes in the mountains (the competition is at Whistler) but I'm a bit nervous because the bears come out of hibernation around this time! I'll have to wear a bell and carry a whistle! And bear spray! Next check in will be Tuesday for me, so I wish you all the best of luck over the weekend and make it a good one! I want to see smiley emoticons all over the entries on Tuesday! On mine, too!

Today may be challenging. I've been asked to spend 3 hours sitting on the patios of two of Vancouver's nicest restaurants and eat appetizers and drink wine while a photographer takes publicity shots. Tough job, I know! A girlfriend knows the promotions manager and so we're basically doing this for fun (and good wine!) I'll really try to just sample a few of the lighter things on the menu and keep busy chatting. I went for that long hike yesterday and it was beautiful. I recommend that type of exercise to everyone who can get out in the fresh air.
