Another crazy work out. Increased all my weights from 10lbs to 20lbs ignore what I wrote. And is it true that we need to trick our bodies into still thinking we are fat and wear weighted belts so we still burn the same amount of calories?

IMO the less time you spend with that amount of weight on your joints the better off your body is. LOL It is NOT made to carry excess weight like that and it is extra wear and tear that is setting you up for early arthritis.🤷🏻‍♀️So NO. Do not use a consistent extra weight or something like that. High intensity lifting is entirely different. 😘Talk to HCB. She’s great! Exercise your muscles to wake them up out of the atrophy they have fallen into from disuse; THAT is the best thing you can do! 💁🏻‍♀️Every time you use a muscle, fuel is burned from it. Magnesium is needed to replace the quick burning fuel stored in our muscles for quick release and the cycle starts again. (Look up ATP on the internet.) working your muscles to create a calorie deficit is the best way to keep the need for calories high. The bigger the muscle group worked the better, but your whole bidy ideally should get worked.

Wanted to say that what you are doing is good! Do you feel like you have more energy? If you don’t, are you getting enough protein in your mix of food? Sodium, potassium and magnium with your WATER as well. No caffeine, no carbonation, water. As the fat goes away it is replaced by water and needs the electrolytes to be flushed from your body so you can exhaust and/or dehydrate yourself easily if you aren’t careful. 🙋🏻

Thank you smprowett! I’m getting lots of water, no coffee but I do take the occasional energy drink if I’m having a really hard time but I only do the juice ones and they are 20 calories. I know bad bad bad. And I just got my magnesium supplement today! I found out why I was so tired it was my medicine so I switched it to an evening dose like the doctor said and I’m feeling much much better. All the advice I get from you and Deadpool and so many others has helped me so much! Don’t know what I would do without you guys! I did also grab a probiotic to try to help regulate me as well and working on finding a potassium supplement but everyone has been sold out. I’ll try again tomorrow. Drinking plenty of water.

I’m trying to work each muscle ground and I focus most on my core because of my back issues I want to strengthen it before I start more cardio cause it throws my back out so quick. What is your work out routine? Always looking for more things to add.

I do stretches from a book called Aging Backwards by Miranda Esmonde-White and I have a set of PT exercises that I am currently doing because I’m recovering from abdominal surgery this year. 🤷🏻‍♀️Then it will be back to Water aerobics I hope. I also do time on the recumbent bikes.
