ok, I've been reading other people's posts, and I feel a bit better. we seem to all be in the same boat. I was prediabetic, my blood pressure was up and I couldn't walk even PART of a quarter mile. as of yesterday, my blood pressure is 118/65, blood sugar 94, liver not as high as before (fatty liver) and I can (with pain I can work through) walk 1.25 miles. I'm thinking it's better to look at my ability and my blood #'s than the scale.

That's an amazing amount of progress. You should really be proud. If you don't eat extra and you walk, you probably burn a lot of calories. I would think that after a couple of weeks of walking you would see a difference in weight. Some people can't exercise very much which is very understandable and some people don't believe in it. I know that throughout my life it has made a huge difference.
