IS HOT CHOCOLATE A HEALTH FOOD?

I have given up so many things since Jan 1. Starting with wine and beer....that was hard, but have made it except for a couple x social drinking. Refuse to walk down the chip aisle. I used to buy the snack packs that you put in your kids lunches after they were long grown, so I could have them around, now NO. I broke down and baked some killer chocolate oatmeal cookies, and lucky for me, gave half away, but still that other half was all mine... One thing I haven't given up is hot chocolate at night. The way I make it I think is almost like health food unless you're a dairy hater. A tablespoon of hersheys' unsweetened cocoa is only 10 CALORIES! And provides 8% of daily fiber! And only 0.5 g of fat! I add ONLY a teaspoon of sugar and use 2% milk. So the one sweet thing I have left and unless someone corrects me, is pretty good for me too. After years of getting that chocolate sludge at the bottom of my cup I figured out a way to totally dissolve the cocoa. Put a little water and the tsp of sugar at the bottom of your cup - microwave about twenty seconds. THEN stir in the cocoa (not before heating)to dissolve, then add the milk and finish heating. The cocoa stays dissolved. And puts me to sleep at night too.
