It's Tuesday. I made a crockpot of Italian, pork and wild rice soup yesterday. It's under 300 calories per serving and absolutely delicious. I put it up in portions in the freezer this morning.
The weather is so gorgeous. It's going to get very hot by the weekend, though. There's a three day camping event for the holiday, but, like Lilies, I'm going to miss it this year. It's close enough that I could day trip it, but I just don't think I can handle the heat yet.
I got quite a bit done in the house yesterday. I'm not even close to caught up, but I'm nibbling along the edges, which is better than nothing at all. I wish I could just wave a magic wand and have it clean and tidy, so I could keep up. I'll get there, but sometimes it seems insurmountable, like the weight.

I know what you mean, when my knees were bad my house and yard became such a mess and I'm still trying to catch up. It doesn't help when you don't like housework.

I'm with you Bonnie..I hate house work and cooking too..sometimes I feel unlady like cause of it..LOL..Love ya kiddo...:O)

I'm with you too, Johanne, as you could tell if you came to my house. Glad you're easing into your events, especially with the weather you're having. You take it a little easy.

Bren, it doesn't make us less a lady. It just means we have more interesting, more important things to do. LOL! I did have to start cooking again, though, to eat correctly because of the whole "celiac" thing
