My weight goal was 192. I have to get to 190 just to get out of the OBESE range. That will put me in “just” the OVERWEIGHT category. From there, I want to get down to 185 (which is the lowest I ever was in over 20 years). Next goal will be 175, at which I will feel comfortable and very proud of myself. (I actually carry weight very well, and will LOOK “normal” at that weight). The BMI calculator says I need to get down to 159 in order to actually BE in the NORMAL weight range. For now, though, I’m going to set my (still ambitious) Goal Weight at 175.
Breakfast – 1 Atkins Ham & Cheese Omelet – 4 carbs. Today is my last chance to have additional carbs for the next NINETY DAYS – So, I got a child-size lasagna and extra bread to split between lunch and dinner (from Roberto’s Italian Restaurant). But, after honestly recording the nutrition info from HALF of the portion I ate for lunch, no way I’m doing that again tonight! Opted, instead, to eat the lovely tomato that was perfectly ripe, some of the fresh French green beans I had made the other day, and 1/4 cup of the leftover mashed potatoes. It was delicious! I’m looking forward to starting the 90-Day LCHF Challenge tomorrow. As I was gathering info about some of the participants, I saw where one lady (Wilpena) said she was only going to “eat what she has PLANNED in the portions that she’s set.” What a brilliant idea! I don’t think I’ve EVER planned ahead what I was going to eat the next day! I DO plan ahead to make "legal" desserts to have on hand. Here's my beautiful dinner:
