Big changes bring big stress. That is all there is to say about LIFE!

My daughter got into school number two! I am excited about that - it's the state school where total cost will be under $20,000 a year. Great school, great location, now she has two really great schools to choose from. She'll hear from 3 more before she makes her decision.

I am trying to get motivated. It is not working. But I am thinking about it. Haven't even weighed myself this week like I thought I would. Ok, I do have a sinus infection that is making me woozy - that was what the headaches earlier in the week were about, I think. I think it also explains the major dehydration that I have been experiencing this week too.

5 things for which I give thanks:
1. I have electronic memory, literally - I program my phone to remind myself to call my friends, call my relatives nearby, so that I remember to reach out to people I care about who care about me.
2. Remembering that the person I am divorcing from (with?) is still actually a person from Thing 1.
3. I like my children as people.
4. My Girl Scout troops are full of children who are emerging as people who may one day fit Thing 1.
5. My job - I am well-paid, valued, and given lots of flexibility.
