I haven't been on here in the past few days. I continued to follow my plan of attack. The only downfall is my treadmill isn't working so I am waiting for a part to come in. I did measure last night and I am 11.75 inches smaller than on 1/27 and I currently weigh 223. So I have lost 7 pounds. I had dipped down to 222 but that was 1 day so I am thinking either I didn't eat enough the day before or it was just a fluke.

I haven't been on because one I have been busy with my work, but 2 the "drama" post I seemed to allow myself to read. I got all uptight and then finally though-WAIT a minute. You were losing before reading the posts then you got uptight-and stayed the same...so why not just be yourself and do what was working? So that is what I am doing.

I am drinking more water. I haven't had a diet soda in 5 days. I do Atkins because for me I feel in control. I don't miss the bread, chips, pasta, muffins, donuts or anything that is BREAD....ok, I occasionally miss it...but I don't concentrate on what I used to eat. I feel better and People are already commenting that is it noticeable that I am losing so why change it.
I see a lot of Atkins bashers on here..well bashers is probably harsh-but if you don't do it or choose not to do it-that is fine...but I choose to because for me it works. I can see myself following it right through and this being my new way of life...but that doesn't make me on a diet-just makes me someone that chooses not to have the things I have chosen not to.

So in conclusion...lol I will record my weight, log a journal entry here and there, and log my exercise...but I think I will stay away from the drama...as I don't need it....

I am glad I have a place to go that I can put down my thoughts and it makes me accountable to clock my progress.
