A couple months ago, I went low carb high fat and lost pounds pretty easily. I got to 132 within a couple of weeks (started at 140ish). Yay! But then I started eating carbs again. Starchy vegetables, dried prunes, yogurt, and there were birthdays and anniversaries so I had to have cake. Almost immediately I started feeling like crap. My digestive system was not happy, I felt all bloated, gassy, and water-weighty. And my weight shot up to almost 139 super fast. Dangit! Ok, so carbs are bad. Back on the bacon wagon. These chubs will be gone in no time ;)
Day one back on the wagon: My daily calories were pretty low: 1,100. But eating meat and fat had me feeling pretty satisfied all day. I did get a headache, which I attributed to my body going back into ketosis. I can live with that. I know it's temporary. On the bright side, I already feel slimmer and my digestive system is much happier.
