Morning all. Doing pretty well. No pain med's last night or this a.m and a bit sore today. Moving really slow. Weight is way up today. Not sure about that one. I weighed in at 169. WOW. I about fell off the scale. Oh well. It will come off sooner or later. I didn't put it on over night so I shouldn't expect it to come off over night either.
WOE/WOL is going well. Eating good and feeling good. No ups and downs with the blood sugars, so that pleases me.

Laurie, it is not unusual to have a big weight gain after surgery...they pumped you full of fluids via IV, then there is the surgery and the fluid due to the "injury" to the area and the healing process. It'll be gone before you know it! Glad all went well and that you are doing okay! Love and hugs!! :)

Not sure what kind of surgery you had, but I gained 14 lbs pumped full of fluids when I had abdominal surgery It will come off. Mine came off over the course of a week or so. Rest up. so you recover well..

Hard to see that number, I know, but it's truly just an after-effect from the surgery and will be gone shortly. Rest up, do your best, and don't give it another thought. Glad you're on the mend....have a restful weekend. Everyone living up to their pampering commitments???
