It's worth mentioning too there's a bit more to health than just weight loss. I went to a party last night and put my newly washed jeans on. Normally they're tight enough to stay up without a belt for a day or three, last night I couldn't get as far as the front door without having to tug at them. I went and put my belt on, and had to pull it to the last notch. so a few pounds up and down aren't anything to worry about in that context :-)
