Day 10 of new lifestyle.
Things are getting easier in my new routine. I think the hardest part is working out those 2 days out of the week when I have to squeeze them in right after working 8-9 hours. The other 2 work out days I just do on my days off, so it's easy. But after work, I want nothing more than to flop on the couch and relax. It takes a lot to tell myself "NO!".
Ugh, that awkward moment when somebody out of the generosity of their heart (and doesn't realize I've been severely watching what I'm eating) buys me a big, huge, delicious looking cinnamon roll, and I realize I have to eat it to show that their goodwill isn't foresaken. Oh god, I ate half and felt so sick and nauseous. Note: Make it a little more evident that I'm dieting.

It is so hard when people try to be kind with food and we are trying to avoid those temptations. Sometimes in the past, I have just said "Oh thank you, I just ate, so I am going to save this for later! Or I'm not really hungry I'm going to enjoy this tonight/at lunch/etc" and then just thrown it out or regifted it too somebody else.
Today I almost turned down an invitation to dinner at a friends house for this Thursday, but then I realized, wait a minute! You can make it work, just eat in moderation and it will be okay!

Oh my gosh, good responses to the food temptations! And you're definitely right, if you make room for it, it can work. Or, you can just treat yourself :) Hope your day went well!
