I woke up this morning, so I guess I'm still alive. Velcro's doing better but I'm afraid I'm not. I was supposed to go to a fun, annual event in Omaha this weekend. I'm afraid that's just not going to happen. I can see me now dragging along my cold remedies, my nebulizer, my pile of hankies with a big plastic bag to stow them in, my Vicks-Vapo-Rub . . . NOT! I smell like Vicks and cough drops. LOL! I can see me now, wearing my Medieval tunics flashing my loudly colored hankies around. I'm sure I would garner LOTS of hugs. Hehe. I'm going to hunker down here with Harry Potter movies, my knitting and my nice warm cups of broth and tea and live to play another day. I hope everyone else is healthy and happy and has a great day!

Hey Jo, sorry I have been away I missed all that has happened in your life lately. I am so sorry you are sick, I hope you can beat this back! I too am up way past where I want to be in the weight dept BUT I have faith you will get this under control!

Aw, Bonnie, I am so sorry that you are still under the weather. I can just see you out there waving those gaily colored hankies! Harry Potter is a great substitute to playing with friends! I saw on Bren's journal that you have a Fitbit in your wishlist on Amazon. Just make sure that the warranty is valid if you buy it through there. I just read about another newer gadget that is made by the bluetooth company and there were lots of problems. The ones that people bought through Amazon that quite working were not covered since they weren't bought through the official site. Glad Velcro is feeling better, and sure hope you get there soon. Steph, thanks for the warning about getting it from Amazon. I'll make sure everything is above board before ordering. I know, in the past, they have always covered ANYTHING I bought there, including food. I order a lot of food through them now since I've had to go gluten free. It's SO MUCH cheaper that anywhere else and free shipping if you subscribe. It will be March before I can order the Fitbit, if then. I really want one. Love you dearest. I'm so glad you're here.
