so i went to the gym tonight and i'm honestly considering going tomorrow as well. maybe start with four days a week and go from there. today's workout sucked bc i didn't grab a well-fitting shirt and it kept riding up, but luckily my gym is fairly empty at night(there were two gentlemen in the back with the free weights not paying any attention to me in the front on the elliptical) and so i dont think anyone saw. definitely grabbing a bigger shirt if i go tomorrow. but it made me have to keep stopping, plus the fatigue of the last few days has been getting to me. i may just take the weekend off and start back up on monday bc my thighs are really chafed as well :(

anyways, i at least got today's workout done, and a workout is a workout even if you don't do so hot! and tomorrow i'm off work so i can relax a little.

Make sure your workout is at appropriate level. If you do cardio your heart rate should be within certain bpm levels. I can see people at the gym that are literally losing their time sitting on a bike turning pedals with no effort watching TV. Also it is a good idea for the start to set lower goals so you don't fail, feel shame and get demotivated. Set yourself a goal to go to gym 2 a week. If you do 3-4 you will feel better that you are exceeding this goal. Review and add achievable objectives every month.

I think you are doing great! Anything that raises your heart rate is better than doing nothing.

Try doing something that entertains you as well... I like dancing for example - i have a video game at home that allows me to dance at home and I find myself playing like a crazy woman. No boredom, lots of calories...
