Well I kind of went off the tracks this past weekend... Back to the straight and normal again. Let's get back to it FS peeps. It's a new week.

I did a 23 minute stair walk-about during lunch. It was hot so I cut it short, not wanting to get too sweaty. I am using track my ride on my phone now instead of the exercise log in FS. What a big difference in calories burned. FS is way higher. That could give one a false sense of being in a calorie deficit when you are actually not... something to think about if you are wondering why the wieght isn't comming off.

Yeah, I don't use the food logs or exercise logs here. I find the numbers aren't accurate, but that's me. Basically here for support (give and receive) and journaling....that's it.

Odie is fine. Thanks for asking. He gets knocked around and knocked down by the other dogs but manages to get back up. I took Iko to the vet today to get a hernia repaired. He's a blue weimaraner. He had it when we originally rescued him 4-5 years ago. He was so afraid at the vet... poor thing.

Iko is such a cute name. Blue Weimaraners are beautiful.....beautiful fur. Awww, poor pooch.

Iko Iko is a song originally by the Dixie Cups from the late 50s or early 60s I think. It's on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wNSHPQj0W8). I first heard it at a Grateful Dead show, or one of their bootlegs when I was in college. Dr. John also does it as do many others. It's a Mardi Gras song. Give it a listen.

Oh yes...I know the song. I like that song. Cyndi Lauper covered the song too. I didn't know who originally sung it.
