As I was leaving work yesterday, I had time to pick up a fair amount of groceries and I thought to myself...whew...just stop at my Dad's, take care of his feet and make his dinner. A nice quiet few hours before I take his car in for service and then go home. At the checkout, my daughter calls and My son-in-law blew another tire...he was on the side of the road yesterday morning when I passed him, in sub zero weather...Not Again??? He does construction and must've driven over something??? On her way to work, Could she drop the kids off at My Dad's while I am there, till the tire situation is resolved. OF COURSE! The kids very mellow and my dad enjoyed the visit and my son-in-law was very grateful. I had the kids the past two afternoons, but it was good to see them again... after all of this, hubby and I had a nice dinner at home and I enjoyed a good glass of red wine and put everything else on the back burner till morning.

Hi lulani. Sorry about all the problems with tires, and the snow. I did get to Kailua, and said a prayer for your mother. I'm sorry, I didn't get some kind of memorial for your mother, Jean, but I did say a prayer. It is difficult trying to do anything without my wife knowing. She doesn't even know about FS. LOL I hope you get back to visit there, sometime. We had a wonderful trip, as I really treasured the time there. THANKS!
