I didn't go over much through the holidays, haven't been on a scale yet as daily fluctuations are normal.

Spent the weekend working on re-doing my dining room, hanging wallpaper with my grandson. I hate that job. Only did wallpaper as my walls are hopeless, too many layers of paper and paint, nothing really smooth as I've spend weeks trying to strip it. So textured paintable wallpaper. Painting will be within the next week. Tired and off to bed at a decent time to face another crazy week.

I bet your dining room looks awesome when you get it finished. Using textured wallpaper is a great idea for uneven walls. How nice that your grandson is helping you, too. I am getting ready to paint my office. It has been a spicy rust color for years now ... time to lighten it up. I bought a new rug to go in the office, too. Should be a new fresh look.

I love spicy red.. my kitchen is a spicy dark red but change can be good adding a textile can definitely soften a room and change the look. My dining room will be a darker blueish green, the same as my living room as they run together. Pulling my little house together is the white woodwork, similar white shelving and accents from the colors in other rooms.

I can't wait to see some more pictures. I love decorating. It's a process, that is for sure!
