First ski day of the season, Nov 10/16 at Sunshine Village near Banff, Canada. It was a Great day!! First pic: from the Standish chairlift looking to the South with Lookout Mountain, Divide and Goat's Eye Mountain in the background. Second pic under the Standish chairlift: Third pic, looking back at Goat's Eye, awesome view... Hope everyone has a great month ahead and we all can enjoy family time and Thanksgiving without too much "diet damage"!

That hill makes me very jealous. Not very many ski resorts like Banff. I remember, I was hoping to book a trip there, but it didn't happen. That slope behind you reminds me of one I loved in Mammoth Mountain. That is SO neat!

We love our winters...ok, maybe we just make the best of them as they are about 11.5 months long, lol. The only month we have never seen snow (in my memory) is July.

Oh the memories... When I lived in the prairies I would ski Sunshine all the time. I'm just a bit jealous - however - I still have a beautiful GREEN lawn, so maybe not too jealous. ENJOY!!

Yup, I hear you Frankie :-) our lawn is green right now too, but we've had a hit of winter that melted away...more snow coming to stay later today.
