I am sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a loved one. However, you're right - Your mom definitely would not want you to stop your weight loss because of losing her. She'd want for you to keep going to the best of your abilities, also through the hard times. If there is one thing a parent loves to see, it is the success of their children. Reach your goals in her honor, and for yourself. 

I echo the sentiments that KingKeld has expressed.... She would want you to continue, and I bet is looking down at you, cheering you on...... wow 93 was a really good age - I bet she had some stories to tell 

My sympathy at the loss of your dear mom. So happy that you got to spend so much time with her. I'm sure you both enjoyed the time together. I don't even want to imagine the grief you are feeling. I dread the day I loose my mom. Be patient with yourself. It will get worse before it gets better. You are an intelligent woman and you know what to do. Just give yourself some time to deal with all the emotions. Don't expect too much from yourself right now. Know that you will come out on the other side strong and determined. You WILL reach your goal. Your mom will help make certain of that. Keep the faith.
